The CRIMAZ disc brake is installed at the original mounting points of the fork and improves the braking effect enormously. The original fork does not need to be modified, but should be in good condition. The modification stays optically in the background, the classic look of the scooter is preserved.
To get the full braking power on the road we recommend to replace the fork spring and the shock absorber with reinforced versions. This will counteract the strong frontal immersion during braking. An ideal combination is the adjustable BGM Pro shock absorber. This can be perfectly adjusted to the vehicle/driving behaviour for the best possible performance.
The set contains all parts to convert the fork. The control of the brake caliper can be realized according to your own ideas. A nice and also revisable solution also comes from CRIMAZ (3333455). Here a hydraulic brake pump is installed under the handlebars and mechanically controlled by the original brake lever via a joint. Additionally only a hydraulic brake line with 1320mm length and connection banjos with 20° (top) and 90° (bottom) is necessary.
