Vespa PX150 fuselage engine without cylinder– year of construction 2017: Brand new
Description:This brand-new engine comes from the Vespa PX150 series, year of construction 2017. It is an original Piaggio engine from the last production series, which was reissued in 2011. The engine has a modern ignition and an exhaust with catalytic converter. Both components can be easily replaced with parts from older models if required. The fuselage engine corresponds to the models before 2011 and is supplied without cylinders.
Compatibility:The engine can also be installed in older vehicles, such as a Vespa Sprint. The existing oil pump for the automatic two-stroke oil mixture can be decommissioned so that the vehicle can be driven with a conventional mixing ratio of 1:50.
Quality test:The engine was tested on the Piaggio factory test bench. A test report is enclosed.
Adaptations:If the engine is operated without a catalytic converter, we recommend slightly adjusting the jetting.
Scope of delivery:
- Complete fuselage engine, without cylinder/piston, incl. electric starter
- The exhaust is not included in the scope of delivery.
- The engine is supplied in a sturdy wooden crate
- Weight approx. 50kg
Notes:
Transmission oil:The engine is supplied without operating fluids (gasoline/oil). Transmission oil (250 ml) must be filled in before commissioning.
Mixture oil (2-stroke oil):If the engine is to be operated with the factory-fitted oil pump for automatic 2-stroke oil admixture, use a 1:50 oil/petrol mixture for the first tank filling. This ensures that the oil pump is bled and the engine is lubricated. If the oil pump is not used, it can be shut down and the engine is permanently operated with a mixing ratio of 1:50 (oil/petrol).
