This is a forged ultra-high quality Italian made rear layshaft axle. It is perfectly suited for all 4 and 5 speed gearboxes!

There are two main problems of the original Innocenti rear axles, as these are now at least 50 years plus they can be a massive safety problem. As you do not know what happened in the lifespan, there is the risk that the layshaft simply breaks at the end of the thread causing your rear wheel coming off.

Another problem are the splines that are often worn and can cause the rear hub to come lose all the time.

As such Casa Lambretta retrieved the ORIGINAL INNOCENTI DRAWINGS from the archives and using these, there are now new layshafts made up and these are spot on. All your layshaft woes have finally come to an end.
